This system is tuned for the 3500s equipped with rear leaf springs. It will install on the 3500 trucks equipped with the factory auto-leveling air assist but the tuning is NOT refined to the platform. We recommend you measure the truck as it often takes less than 2.5″ of front lift to level the Air-Assist Rams
The Carli Suspension CS-DLVL-BC-CS-13-D Backcountry 2.5-inch front leveling system for Dodge Ram 3500 4WD diesel models is a leveling kit that raises the front end to sit level with the rear. More importantly, this high-end leveling kit will improve ride quality and performance in both on-road and off-road conditions.
This leveling system features 2.5-inch lift front coil springs with a slightly reduced linear rate for improved ride comfort. Paired with the coil springs are Carli SPEC 2.0 remote reservoir shock absorbers. These shocks use a 2″ diameter 6063 aluminum anodized body for corrosion resistance and great heat dispersion. Remote reservoirs will increase oil capacity, giving better heat dispersion and performance in extreme conditions. 5/8-inch diameter hardened steel, chrome-plated shafts are also used.
To keep the front axle centered properly, an adjustable front track bar is included. In typical Carli fashion, this bar has features that are not found in other track bars. This includes 3/8 inch DOM construction that allow for use of a 1″ x 7/8″ FK bearing heim joint with a huge 1″ shank.
